Salvia – Coral Nymph-Salvia coccinea
Tender Perennial- Clouds of nectar-rich, orchid-like blossoms in an enchanting shade of coral with tiny white stamens. Hummingbirds seek out and flock to these flowers from dawn to dusk. Long-lasting and heat tolerant.
Soil & Water:Plants handle a wide range of conditions and can be container grown as well.Garden soil should be well worked and in full sun.
Planting & Growing:To Start Directly in the Garden:Space seed 4″ apart, cover lightly and keep bed moist until germination.Thin to 8″.To Start Early Indoors:Four to six weeks before last frost, sow seed 1″ apart in seed starting mix and barely cover.Keep moist with a strong light source.Transplant outdoors 8″ apart.If container growing,m transplant 4 plants per 20″ pot.
